Reconnect Client Computers

I know a lot of us plan for nothing bad to happen. But when the worst does happen and you have to reinstall your server, you are going to have to reinstall the connector on each and every machine. It is a pain to do it. But wait, there is an easier way to reconnect your computer.

What you will need

Desktop access to your client machines.

What to Do

What you need to do is open Windows Ecplorer and navigate to:

C:\Program Files\Windows Home Server\Discovery.exe

When you run that program, you will see a familar dialog. Go ahead and type in your server password, and viola You've reconnected to your server without having to reinstall the connector

Done

Well maybe... You will have to do this same thing on each of your client machines.
