Advanced Admin Console

Install the AAC Add-In.

You'll see a small arrow pointing downwards at the right of the AAC Add-In screen, click on it and select Customize.... You'll now see the Windows home server Settings Window with Custom Shortcuts from AAC. Press Add Shortcut... and copy/paste this in the box:

"C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\Show Desktop.scf"

Press Next. Enter the name of the shortcut (Default is: Show desktop) and press Finish. Close the Windows Home Server Settings Window by pressing OK.

Remote Desktop in the WHS Console

Back in the AAC Add-In window press that little arrow pointing down again and you see a new shortcut Show Desktop. Click the Show Desktop shortcut and you have access to the WHS desktop!
